ASIAN AMERICAN, ASIAN STUDIES ASSOCIATION FOR
The Association for Asian Studies (AAS)—the largest society of its kind, with approximately 7,000 members worldwide—is a scholarly, non-political, non-profit professional association open to all persons interested in Asia. It seeks through publications, meetings, and seminars to facilitate contact and an exchange of information among scholars to increase their understanding of East, South, and Southeast Asia. It counts among its members scholars, business people, diplomats, journalists, and interested lay persons. The AAS was founded in 1941 and in 1977, a Council of Conferences (COC) was established as a liaison with several conferences throughout the United States which serve the needs of scholars of Asian studies in different parts of the country. The AAS is a member of the American Council of Learned Societies, actively participating with its sister societies in a wide range of activities, including joint participation in research and informational exchanges.

GOLDSEA is far and away the World Wide Web's biggest and most popular Asian American site. This site contains a job board for healthcare professionals.  Employer registration is required to post positions and is free.  An employer tutorial is available online and covers topics such as searching, posting, deleting and editing.  Posting includes a “profile page” which includes your job description as well as community and organization descriptions, a link to your website and your company logo/graphic.  Job seekers pre-fill information on their qualifications and if your location and description fit their profile, a copy of the job description will be emailed to them as a courtesy to both the job seeker and poster.
