    State-Mandated Diversity Training sessions will be offered on 1/29/13, 2/13/13, 4/15/13, and 5/14/13 in the Dodd Center's Konover Auditorium, Storrs Campus and on 4/11/13 in the Library Auditorium at the Greater Hartford Campus. Please register at the Professional Development site.

  • Sexual Harassment Prevention Training

  • Search Training

    While no University-wide Search Orientation Workshops are scheduled at this time, please contact ODE for customized search training for any search committee. University-wide sessions will resume in June 2013. 

Who are we?

The Office of Diversity and Equity (ODE) ensures the University's commitment and responsibility to foster diverse and inclusive working and learning environments. Our work focuses on ensuring compliance with the University’s non-discrimination policies and also state and federal laws and regulations related to equal opportunity and affirmative action.  ODE’s major areas of focus include Americans with Disabilities Act (Title I) Compliance, Affirmative Action, Discrimination, Diversity, Education and Training, Search Process Compliance, and Title IX Compliance, including sexual violence awareness.
